Instead of leaving people hanging, I am posting the IM rough draft that the series was based on.The story is here as well as the plot and the smut. Sunnydale airportG-Giles picks her up and drives her to the hospital
B-buffy's still a total mess....
G-it was a drunk driver hit her... broad side intersection main and ailine...Doctors think she will
survive now... they didn't know when I called...God buffy I am sorry... I didn't want to disturb you
and Angel... but I had to.B-nods.. sighing in relief fresh taers coming...it's ok.... and if you didn't guess on the phone it wasn't
angelG-The other driver died at the scene...
B-Yeah Angel doesn't answer quite so... aggrssively...I liked his grape air plane... wry
chuckle...chuckls.. he's feeling emotions.....G-jaw drops...ANGELUS is feeling emotions?
B-sighs.. csares him something chronic but yeah he's feeling them....
G-they drive up to the hospital
B-tenses as they arrive....
G-scares me chronic... too how is he standing up to them?...she is on a ventilator but can hear
you...willow is at her sideB-spent way to much time in hospitals lately....
G-I know
B-he's standing up ok.. he is feeling the pain of his victims.. all of them...hey mom... I'm here...
J-she is on a vent with a chest tube and alot of IV's
B-kind of a role reversal from last time huh?? touches her cheek..
DR-A Doctor comes in Your her daughter?
B-you trying to out do me....looks at the doctor yeah i am...
J-Joyce shakes her head no
DR-We will be removing the ventilator over the next day or two
B-smiles at her mother.. it's ok just kidding...
DR-she is doing quite wll
B-nods.. she'll be ok...???
DR-I belive so... it was touch and go for a bit there but she has stablized nicely
B-nods.. healing abilities.. must be in the blood.. smiles at her mother...sites down by willow...
G-giles looks at joyce carefully
B-buffy can see his mind turning...looks at him.. cool it giles.... no theories for the day hmmm...

use when angelus arrives...think i left him pissed off...G-oh yes...
two days later
G-they are in the cafeteria eating dinner. His cell phone rings... helllo...
M-Hello is this Mr Rupert Giles?
G-yes it is..can i help you?
B-looks at him curiously...
M-This I Mark Johnson of TWA we have a...shipment for you but no one has
picked it up..and they don't like bodies waiting around bagage for days... even if they are in
hermeticly sealed caskets...G-swallows... how long has it been there????
M-We left messages at the other numbers but no one came or picked him up...at least 24 maybe 30
hoursG-oh hell... giles could see his life ending.. we're on our way will be there in ten
minute flat....M-good I am around back in the freight area....
B-looks up... raises an eyebrow..
G-ok thank you very much..Angel got in about 24 to 30 hours ago and has bee in baggage at the
airport...hope it's not angelus.. he's going to kill us..Need to get Oz and go pick him up..I have no
idea...B-stands.. ok..lets go.... even angel hates coffiens..

Oz drives up in his van... and looks at them - you mean he has been locked in his casket for 24 to 30
hours?B-buffy nodded slowly.. bags not opening it...
O-can I get gone before you let him out....A young man comes up...
B-looks over at giles.. you're opening it...puts on a sad look.. hi....hands the paper work to Giles
who signs it and groans...G-I am sorry... we had a crises in the family... in the ICU.....
M- yeah I can see how that takes prefence over the dead
G-whispers to Buffy...36 hours.... form shipment in Ireland...
B-nods slowly.. whisperes back...you're still opening it...thinks.. need food...
G-groans... they mean place the casket in the van and Oz gets behind the wheel...oz swing by
Willtys bar... he will needs some sustenceB-stays in the back.. with the casket... umm angel... trying to work out who's in control
G-hesitently releases the casket... and slowly opens it...
A-a hand reaches out and grabs giles by the throat... Angelus snarls "Did you fucking
forget something?"B-sighs nope not angel....
A-he looks haggard...eyes sunken.. skin drawn
B-reaches out and puts her hand over his.. let him go angelus..
A-he has gone more than 48 hours without feeding...
B-oz hurry up....
A-looks at her...releases Giles...
B-smiles.. thank you... holds her hand out to help him up...
A-scrables out of the casket... God I hate those things growls low in his throat... his
eyes are yellow fangs out he is deep into hunger...she can feel is eating at him like a moster with
metel teethB-moves to his side.. cups his cheek.. easy angelus.. give it to me... shjare it...
A-hugs her tightly and relaxes... she can feel the deep building hunger and the building
bloodlust...they pull up to willy's... he sees where they are and is out of the van in a heartbeat and
inside...G-holds his hand on hers...No Buffy don't go in there
B-looks at giles... it's ok giles I've been on the hunt with him....She can feel his satisfaction as blood
fills his hunger...and the disastifaction in the face it was not a kill to give itG-I am not talking... the hunt?
B-but setttles into the van.... yeah we found away that he can still hunt and kill...
G-what the hell do you mean the hunt?...WHAT?
B-looks at him.. vamnpires giles he can take out other vampires
O-Oz is looking at her fearfully
G-oh...I don't think you are up to speed and he is hungry enough to be distracted...
B-it's ok.. it keeps the lust at bay....small smile...giles I'm no where near up to speed..but you saw
what I meant about more emotions.. and he responds better to me...G-Yes fascinating you will have to tell me about it... to train a vampire demon to
have emotions... unrealB-frowns he's not a puppy giles i didn't train him...I showed him things though...started after we
went to ireland.. we had a lot to talk abbout...G-I know he is not a puppy buffy... but like human children they too must be
trained...B-smiles not all of it nice but we delt... miles at him...what till you see him in a good mood.. very scry
and he mopes better than angelG-Giles just lookes at her... not sure if he WANTS to see Angleus in a good moosd...
B-smiles broadly.... trust me...
G-shakes his head in wonder... a demon with emotions...
A-Angelus stides bak to the van... he feels beetter looks better and seems more
alive...climbs in...B-smiles at him
A-he kisses her on the lips gently...
B-hey...
A-how is your mom doing?
B-nods, alright they removed the vent thingie today,,,,sits down beside him in the van... arm
wrapped around him...sighs... missed you...A-I missed you too...I hate traveling that way...But a freighter would have taken longer than a
month....B-nods i know... sorry bout that.. we haven't been with mum most of the time..didn't even know
you'd arrived...leans her head against him...A-I was about ready to rip my way out...then I heard him call giles...and decided to wait...
B-kisses him softly.... sorry...will make it up to you.. I promise...
A-I am counting on that he growls in her ear... Giles is staring at them in amazement... it is
angelus...B-whimpers very softly...smiles at him, then smiles over at giles...
A-runs his teeth along her neck in a show of posession... Giles recognizes it as a
classic vampire possesive move... his skin crawls thinking of Angelus "possesing" his slayer...B-can't help but arch her neck back.. baring her throat to him....
A-he runs his fangs along her neck but doesn't bite... but her body shivers anyway...
B-whimpers softly.... angelus.. soft warning.....gathers her strangth and carefully pulls away... looks
at him with a mild
repermand in her eyes for teasing giles....but riuns it by smiling then mouthing the word later at
him...A-he smiles wickedly at her... whispers gotta get used to it... your mine...
B-smiles... you're in a good mood now.. how ya feeling???
A-He looks at Giles and looks at him with an interesting look in his eyes ...better now I am ourt of
that damned box and fed...B-see's the look angelus.. what are you up to???
A-shruggs... noticing things I never noticed before... we'll take avut it later
B-nods.. leans back against him.. want to see mum..
A-ok... should be interesting... smirk on his face...
B-angelus, looks at him.. can i stay at your place it's closer to her...
A-shruggs yeah
B-smiles curling into him... missed his touch..
A-they arrive at the hospital and he follows her in...he is watching everyone around him especially
the families in the ICU waiting
roomB-walks into her mothers room.. hey mum.... sorry about leaving but we had to
collect angel/usJ-she has been extubated and is smiling...
B-kisses her mother on the cheek..and sits and the side of the bed...looks up at angelus to see what
he's doing...i'm going to stay with him while you're in here... be easier to get here...J-well that is proper for you to stay with your husband...
B-frowns for a aminute.. looks at her ring.. she'd almost frogotten about it in everything that had
happened.. she smiled.. yeah I guess it is...C-Cordelia comes in to see mrs summer s and is surprised to see Angel and Buffy
B-looks at her.. hey cordy..smiles at her
A-Angelus nods to her
B-smiles realising cordy had never met angelus...
C-hi Angel...
AS-shakes head ... not Angel...
B-puts out her hand for angelus to take...cordy.. this is angelus....
AS-feebly trying to figure out who the hell this person is... Angel doesn't like her so he
didn't lay down much memeory regarding her... all he gets is SlayeretteB-he and angel are sharing the body now...
C-eyes bulge
B-stands whipsers into his ear...she was forever trying to get with angel.. but is now dating
xander...AS-snorts -he has no memory pattern of her... made no big impression there
B-it's alright cordy he's not evil... he and angel share control now...looks at him with a small smile..
nips his ear softly before sitting back down..N-Nurse comes in... now she is out of imeaditae danger visint outs are over at 9pm
G-glares at the nruse.. what???
N-She is stable... visit hours are over... you need to leave
B-stands up not at all happy... buts kisses her mother.. then slwoly walks out
J- Buffy be careful...
A-nods at her...
B-nods.. I will I promise...they are walking along C is tripping on Angelus/angel...slips an arm
around angelus her head wearily on his arm.. hasn't had much sleep...A-lets go home...You need sleep
B-smiles at him... no I like this.. being with you again..angelus I'm sorry for what I said before
leaving to come here...Cordelia offered them a ride home but they were in the mood to walk...they are walking home to
his house arms around one anothert.B-smiled her hand frimly linked with his... god i missed oyu.. just the two days was
hellA-snorted... I'll say...did you like the hyperbaric flight on that fancy airplane?
B-shakes her head.. didn't even notice it..don't remeber much untill seeing giles
A-too bad I understand it is incredible...
B-nods.. i guess. sorry..
A-that is ok...
B-looks up at him.. angelus?? do you want to hunt...??...can feel different emotion in him some she
can;t work out.. but the lust is there...A-No I am pretty full...
B-nods.. you feel.. different frowns slightly.. can't work it out....
A-I pretty much gorged myself... new I was going inot a hospital
B-ohh i see.. realisation dawns
A-well... I had 36 hours in that damn casket... alone in the dark no distractions...
B-frowns still looking at his emotions...what did you do??
A-I had a chance to work out some of this emotion stuff... worked on it with Angel...kinda did a
histroical review...I was a real shit you know that?..No baby don't panic... I am not going to wait
for the dawn...B-nods watching him...not missing the fact he called her baby..angel helped you??
V-Vamp 1 of 5 speaks form behind them - to bad traitor...
B-spins around and sees them she tenaes up and stops....
A-Angel spun in game face... him and her agains what appeared to be 5 strong older vamps
obvioulsy coming to the hellmouth to take on the Slayer...B-steps back slightly but backs up against angelus..shakes her head very slightly....
V #2 and 3 attack and Angelus swings out and knocks them inot a wall....V#1 and 4 grab him by
the arms while #% kicks at Buffy...She blocks the kick but doesn't follow up...Angelus is fighting his
2 and #2 and #3 begin to pummel him...B-watches the vamp.. but is absolutly terrified...
A-he kicks out spins around with a judo break hold and shatters #2's arm...drives his hand into #3
and rips his hear out and sqeezes it... he eupts inot dust...Angelus side kicks #1 hard inot the wall...#
5 slaps Buffy and pins her to the wall... -this is the hard Slayer? I laugh at youYou are nothing!..he
goes to bite her but angelus grabs his head and snaps hi neck...the remaining split...he scopps her
up and runs like hell for his partment...gets insdie and places her on the bed...buffy are you
ok?[switched to Angel]B-buries her face in his shoulder small sobs escaping her...I can't... I can't do it....
A-he is looking her over... except for a split lip and bruises he sees no damage on
her..can't do what Buffy?B-fight them.. looks at him I can't fiight them angel
A-jaw dropps.
